Omgosh, I can't say enough good things about the Southern Belle. The hospitality from the staff is incredible. They honestly make you feel like you're an old friend. The home cooking is out of this world and they make it anyway you want it. The regular customers will sit there and talk to you like you're a friend. Read the stuff on the walls and menu cover. It was a dream come true for a military hero and his wife. It's an actual family run business. I can't wait to go back for breakfast and I'll be back every time I have a job in the area.

This is a great place for truck drivers and travellers. The food was reasonably-priced and you get huge, delicious portions for your money. I would definitely recommend this place if you're driving through. 100% worth the stop!

Tried the Boston cream pie, excellent. The original owner was a WWII & Korean war Veteran. Numerous photographs and his original Army coat are on display.

Great place. Very reasonable prices and you get plenty of food. The staff is very friendly and it gives you a great dining experience. It kind of reminds me of the restaurant from the Andy Griffith show.

Warm cozy atmosphere and nice ppl

Our waitress was very quick & courteous💕 i loved her smile & adorable green braided hair🎶 She kept up with our drinks continuously! It was very busy so she worked very methodically with all of the customers✌Our food was perfectly prepared for all 6 of us!! Kudos to the cook!!✌🎶 Everything was hot & yummy🎵🎵

Nice atmosphere. Food was good. My kids are picky eaters and they ate all their food. Being from out of town, they made you feel at home.

Had an awesome breakfast here during our stay in October 2016. Breakfasts are huge. The specialty is home fries and sausage gravy. My son had this but I had the traditional bacon and eggs.

Our first time going and its definitely a nice restaurant to go to! Very nice, good was excellent! Service was amazing! We will be back :)

Southern Bell I love it there. Old town feel sometimes the wait is long but most the time food is very hot n fresh. There soups are delicious and baked macaroni n cheese makes u feel like a kid it taste so good.I also had the steak it tasted like it was just cut fresh they never freeze the steaks.I think it's an old truck stop and they have booths somewhat worn but so comfy overall I give it 5 stars. They have daily specials as well. Homemade fresh tea cucumbers In a creamy sauce to die for. You dont see sit down restaurants like this anymore. I'd rather go to this old time truck stop Restuarant anyday over a high class where I'd pay double to sit in uncomfy seats.You got to try them out.

Great wait staff, large portions at a GREAT price! Will definitely be back at some point to try the 1lb porterhouse when two sides for under $16 !! Great Find.

There was a waiter that was stoned, very poor service, and people left because the waiters forgot they were there so they sat for 45 minutes and just gave up. Other than that the food was amazing, they just need a big improvement with service when theres a lot of people

Old school truckstop. Was originally opened in 1963 and purchased by the current owners in 1970 (according to the current proprietors' history on their menu). Still has a couple of vintage 70s gas pumps of which at least a few hasn't been working for a very long time.I'd ordered a quick burger and side veggie. A tad on the expensive side but no nearly as expensive as our larger truckstops. The food was very good. All in all, I am fortunate to have discovered this place; very nostalgic and I'll go out of my way to get back here.

Seriously slow service! Got served coffee and water, 20 minutes later the waitress took our order and now 35 minutes after giving our order we still have not received our food!!! Finally received our food orders 55 minutes after ordering!!! Better not be in ANY hurry if you decide to have a meal here.

Stopped on our way home to Pittsburgh. Great local place. Food was really good. Prices are really good and the people were very friendly. I wish we had a local place like this close by to our house.

If you are a foodie looking for a holy grail of down home cooking, this is not the place. It's a Cafe where boxed mashed potatoes are served. The food was typical of school cafeteria cuisine. The service was excellent. I liked the homey old fashioned interior. I wanted to like it, but it's not good eats.

It's for the folks that agree slower paced is better. Better food, better service, better price.
